Loyal readers know that most of Jerry's books are set in the 20th Century. Then came "Stories From the Life of Porter Rockwell" with John W. Rockwell, which opened up Church History in the 19th Century. Now Jerry's first novel from that period, "Steamship to Zion" is scheduled for an April release. It tells the story of the Chandler family, who travel by ocean-going steamship in 1850 from Liverpool, to New York, to Panama, and then, after a land crossing, by steamship to San Francisco.
